Welcome to R. Rex Parris High School

Dear R. Rex Parris High School Parents and Students,

We would like to welcome you back to R. Rex Parris High School for the 20-21 school year.  The Antelope Valley Union High School District has made the decision to use the At-Home Distance Learning model for the first semester of the 20-21 school year, and possibly the full year.  Students will remain in the same AM  or PM session they had last year.  The PM session students will attend online Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:35-3:00.  The AM students will attend online Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 am -11:55.  Students will also be able to contact their teachers during the same hours that they attend online.

We are making every effort to ensure that Distance Learning will include rigorous educational content and that students are successful.  Students will have access to all lessons, assignments, and their teachers online via Google Classroom.  We are also working hard to give you access to the answers to your questions. Please check back frequently for any information you may need, including textbook checkout dates, answers to questions you may have, our tech guide, and links to contact information.  Make sure you check the website often as information will be updated and added frequently.

You are always welcome to call the school if you cannot find what you need. We are all hoping for students to return to the school site as soon as possible and until then, we encourage parents and students to work hard and stay safe.

We wish you all a successful and safe school year!
