Hello R. Rex Parris High School families,
We want to give you some information about the end of the school year and summer.
June 4th is the last day of school. We will be holding book returns on June 4th and 5th. All students will need to return all textbooks, chromebooks, library books, and Internet Hot Spots to the school. We will be accepting all school materials on Thursday June 4th from 11:00-3:30 and Friday June 5th between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.. Every student must come to the school on one of those dates to turn in all items that have been checked out to them. All items not returned will be added to student fee accounts, and may result in the inability to receive school records and diplomas.
Upon arrival at the school, everyone must wear a mask. Students must have their school ID ready. Students will then come to the library door in the parking lot with their materials. After being checked in, a verification that students are have returned all items or a list of unreturned items will be given to parents/students. Again, all students must return school materials on June 4th or June 5th. For inventory control, if your student needs a chromebook for summer school, we will check in the chromebook and then check it back out, if the student has completed the summer school application before June 4th.
Summer school will be Distance Learning, and we encourage all students to sign up for summer school. Students must be logged in to their school email accounts before they can fill out the summer school form. Again, if your student needs a chromebook for summer school, they must complete the summer school application before June 4th so it can be checked back out to them.
We will see you all at the textbook return on June 4th or 5th. Stay safe and check back often for updated information.
