Foster Youth Resources
AVUHSD partners with students in foster care to ensure stable, supportive experiences through a multi-tiered system of supports that addresses academic progress, social-emotional wellbeing, and strong peer connections.
Our Commitment
Students experiencing foster care have unique strengths and challenges. AVUHSD coordinates services, removes barriers to enrollment or credit attainment, and advocates for each student’s educational stability while honoring their resilience.
